Visualisation of Ukrainian Musical Culture in "Listen to Ukrainian!" and "Vinyl-art" Student Projects

The purpose of the article is on the example of the “Listen to Ukrainian” and “Vinyl-art” exhibition projects to analyse trends in the development of graphic design in terms of meeting the needs of show business and identify the impact of such events on design education. Methods. The research is based on the analytical and evaluation tool of scientific knowledge. Results. The article demonstrates that the development of the visual identity of an artist by a designer is influenced by a large number of factors, in particular, belonging to a certain subculture or following trends. The projects studied in the article, namely “Listen to Ukrainian!” and “Vinyl-art”, create new opportunities for the implementation of creative ideas of both young and already professional designers. The public testing of the results of the practical tasks performed by the students of the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts in the disciplines: “Design Projecting”, “Design of Printed Publications” etc., is a special attraction of the exhibitions. Thus, the reaction of the audience becomes a marker of mastering the theoretical material. If such events continue to operate, there is a potential possibility of their impact on the visual and graphic support of the Ukrainian stage and an increase in the number of qualified specialists. The meaningful content contributes to the patriotic education of creative youth, in particular, the project implementation process contributes not only to the development of practical skills in preparing files for printing and displaying, but also encourages creative students to study in-depth national culture and history. The results of scientific research in the field of design and related areas explored in the course of the study emphasise the correctness of these opinions. Scientific novelty. Given the lack of theoretical materials on the issue, there is a need for new research and analysis of empirical data that expand the scope of forming the image of musical performers
